favorites list is lost to me

I had some online work by Upton? and I need my favorites list from internet exployer, I now have Google put on by Upton and they said not to logon to internet exployer, I have some much needed info on favorites, "HELP"

look at the Favorites folder in your user profile folder.

You can use whatever browser you are running to IMPORT(may be more easy then c:\users\yourlogin\favorites, but honestly, that is WAY better in my mind. Good call Emerald) the bookmarks from IE

For chrome
Hit the chrome menu(customize and control google chrome). It looks like 3 lines next to the address bar
Select SETTINGS.
Under Users you will see a Import bookmarks and settings... button.
Click it and select Microsoft Internet Explorer

For Firefox
Select Bookmarks -> Show All bookmarks. This will bring up a new window
Use the Import and Backup menu to Import Data from Another Browser and select Microsoft Internet Explorer.
