[citation][nom]specter0420[/nom]I'm sorry but I cannot find a translation or website that shows differently, please point me to where I can find one. (because I know you did your"fact checking") Quran explorer is the one a muslim told me to go to, it says the same as quran.com... Is it because i live in America that i cannot find a "true quran" on the internet? I could care less how you think it is spelled. Quran, Kuran, Koran, Qur’ān, Coran or al-Qur’ān are just a few ways. I don't want to be a propaganda machine and didn't think I was. I just need help figuring this whole thing out. I cannot find a single site that says anything about quran.com or quran explorer being fake, or any other translation/website i find that is different than these two. Please don't attack me just help, if you can. Or maybe learn from me if i am right?[/citation]

If you are truly interested in reading a good translation of the Quran, I would suggest Yusuf Ali, while his translation isn't perfect, it is serviceable. FYI, its written in Shakespearian/Old English. I say serviceable because he does make some critical errors in translation, one being the whole you're allowed to beat your wife if she commits adultery. The translation actually states you should leave if it occurs repeatedly. AMW1011 is correct when he says there are numerous "fake" Quran sites floating about spreading misinformation. I personally have never visited either of those sites you mentioned. There are also translators who bend the translations to fit their own political/social outlook (something I notice the Saudi's are trying to do with their new translations).

You may ask "There can't be that much deviation from the original text, can there?" The short answer: Yes. Old Arabic tends to group certain ideas/concepts into a single word. For instance, although the English translation only refers to men, the actual Arabic word used refers to both men and women.

P.S. My spelling and grammar are impeccable, thank you very much.
P.S.S. bardia, 1.5 billion Muslims going about their every day life disagree with you. Also, the Quran does not contradict itself. Lots of multi faith researchers have tried to find contradictions, all have failed.
P.S.S. To my Muslim brothers who lack the maturity to keep it civil, please grow up. The only reason I mentioned someone's spelling and grammar is because it becomes painful to read posts when some do not make the effort to write correctly.

In conclusion: you're = you are, your = belonging to subject.

[citation][nom]specter0420[/nom]] Actually, true. My thorough understanding of islam comes from what I read in the quran, and nowhere else. Before you reply, go to quran.com (they have two different english translations: Sahih International and Muhsin Khan) Read 5:33-34, 5:49-51, 8:12-17, 8:39, 8:55, 8:65, 8:71, 9:3, 9:5, 9:14, 9:29, 9:73, 9:123, (and about 50 others if you want them) Feel free to read the surrounding quotes until you are confident it's not taken out of context. Sorry if my grammar/spelling isn't perfect, your's is not either. Now we all know who is siinking the place up.[/citation]

I have read two of the verses you said are indicative of the Quran inciting violence. I'm going to assume you're just posting random quotes and that you are in fact a troll. Well played.

Here's one you might have missed:

5.53 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

LOL!! Actually that's a pretty stupid piece of junk, it's a CDMA kind of device using the QualComm chip. And if anyones been to china, they'd know it cost like 2 dollars for a bunch of 500Chips..... lol
Lmao!!! He ought to have just connected the damn thing to his pc and lol changed his numbers lol and shutdown their tracking tower.....LMAO!!!!
I really find it difficult to believe that of all the god forsaken agencies of all the countries, FBI, the creme dula creme of all agencies as portrayed by Hollywood time and again, and I really admire them cos of Hollywood :) would end up being "Jacked" by such low jack tech.... lol
UNBELIEVABLE ......
Really a simple small cell phone or a freaking 3G dongle would have done the trick.... and it would have been virtually untraceable....

Did someone talk about civil rights????
Check the new doctrine, we don't have them anymore....
It's all become a very complicated game of words but bottom line is.... PA someone did say it before... two words....

Hey Guys!!!
Quit babbling about religions you know nothing about, they're way too deep and way beyond the full comprehension of the standard human mind, that is the main reason we have the world masses following them.
BUT, from what ever little that you may comprehend, believe me it's not, what any religion portrays, our bizarre perception of religions is what prevails today, not the religion itself.
I am not a MUSLIM so I can't be called a Islamist, but I sure know my history pretty well, which may happen to be politically incorrect but other stuff is pretty much non biased, and Islam does happen to be one of the youngest religions or actually the youngest religion of the world with a massive following, so please respect the fact, that it has had the time to pick and choose the best from each and every religion of the world to be born.
And since we all know nothing is perfect so maybe Islam is not too, but believe me , it has the least of the worst of all our religions.
The only problem I see with it is it's interpretations around the world.
Well, the KKK didn't keep a burning cross for nothing, if you get the point good, if you don't , forget the religion, read history.

Hnh..... this creeps me out. Misused power as always. but then again, I do not know what they are thinking, and what they are afraid of, but saying this, I may also know just that.

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

Religion is just someting to control people and put them agaist each other. grove up !

[citation][nom]yose3[/nom]lol i would sell it on ebay[/citation]
$0.99

epic fbi fail...

The last thing I would have done was give it back to the Feds. At the very least they would have had to contact my lawyer and the ACLU to recover the device. The Feds would have also found the device was compromised after seeing it on the 5 o'clock news!

FBI = FAIL

Real tracking devices are quite large since they need to run for a few weeks at a time unattended.

As far as what the FBI did, well if the kid was involved with or had family that were shady characters well then what do you expect?

What the FBI does is profiling, but not necesarily racial profiling. You're just some kid flying back to the Middle East to see family members, they can't tell what you were up to, just that you were flying to an area that has bad groups in it. At this point you are nobody and the FBI could care less about you.

It's when you do it numerous times or when it happens to coenside with the movement of people of interest and then turn around, come home and spout off on a blog or website.

Surprise! The FBI is now paying attention to you.

That's how the really, real world works kiddies. Get over it.

[citation][nom]rbarone69[/nom]I hope you arent being serious... If you are...I have inherited 50billion in an account from Africa... I really need to move this money. Send me a PM with your personal info and we can arrange transport of this money in which you will get paid no less than 5% of once the said transaction is completed. You can trust me. I'm not trying to steel your identity, honestly! TRUST ME, I'M TELLING YOU THE TRUTH.[/citation]

meanning scammers are only african and not american? its like i saying if your from the south and white then you wouldnt know what 1+1 is...mostly true but you dont see me generalising it

This is why I am close to giving up on my country and going somewhere that doesn't pull this crap. It's sad our country has come to this.

Getting nervous around those FBI goons would be a bad idea. He did right to give it back in one piece, or he could have been arrested and interrogated in a way that he probably would not have liked.

It's not as if the Patriot Act allows the FBI to do whatever they please, they still have to obey standards of proof (and other procedural laws)...reasonable suspicion in this case. So either the FBI was conducting an illegal investigation not allowed even under the Patriot Act, or they did have reason to believe this guy was a terrorist. You all forget that 9/11 happened, if the government would have been more suspicious of people 10 years ago, we might not have had the twin towers destroyed. In fact, the FBI was going to start investigating a Muslim that was actually involved in 9/11 prior to the attacks but because of the fear of being tagged as "racial profiling" they did not...I'm not saying this is right, but it's something to think about, just playing devils advocate.

Ironically, they're doing this whilst their own border with Mexico is a war zone. Better not go there, I guess.

As far as this individual goes I don't know enough about the particular case to make an informed judgment. I am not quite sure what I'd do if I found this device on my car, aside from get some toilet paper.

Perhaps I'd call the TV stations (or at least the one's willing to take up the story), as well as the local police under fear of 'suspicious and potentially terrorist' device putting me in abject fear. After all we're told to report it if we see it..

Climbing the forest to see the trees, I find this ludicrous, given the situation with America's immigration policy. You want to stop weapons, drugs, rapist's and barons coming into the country? Plug the border instead of making it worse than Iraq, instead of what appears to be a suppression of media coverage. Stopping Europeans at airports and giving them a hard time..giving America citizens a hard time because they question (the nerve), making them look like terrorists..there's a real, well-documented and serious situation with immigration into this country. The only problem is, tackling it would uncover, I think, some shocking revelations regarding who is driving the surge.

you all forget that 9/11 happened, if the government would have been more suspicious of people 10 years ago, we might not have had the twin towers destroyed.

Erm, with respect isn't that based on the notion it was people (or rather terrorists fighting for Islam), that were responsible? If so then where is the proof?

Some people say that for certain voices within government, and in this economic state, 9/11 couldn't have come at a better time.
