file1.exe keeps popping up

So I'm having a bit of a crisis on my PC. Every time I start up I get a message asking if I want to allow file1.exe to change my PC. Every time I do a scan with Malwarebytes I get at least one or two PUPs as well. Any advice on what this is and how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Or might have to go to the paid apps. Or backup your data and do a system restore.

Already tried a system restore and had no luck. I'll take a look at some of those anti-virus softwares I guess.

what about a factory reset? going to lost everything tho.

Haven't tried a factory reset... Would prefer to avoid that if at all possible though. Would be a pain in the ass to backup and reinstall everything. Checked out that link you gave me and gonna give Comodo a try as a lot of people were suggesting it over there.

So yeah Comodo didn't detect a thing and the problem is still persisting... Think that was a waste of time. Should I try deleted the things in the folder I mentioned?

Either delete them or use Trojan remover which may find them then tell it to remove them

Went ahead and deleted everything in the LocalData folder where I found file2.exe and now the problem seems to have stopped. One of the applications in said folder was called smsc or something to that effect. That one required me to go in in safe mode and delete it.
