Firefox got highjacked cant sort it

Using firefox on a well known site genuine click here links got hit by bytefence and all links sent me to skimlinks a book publisher.? I ran adaware and antimalware byte to clean up . I then re installed firefox but the same thing happened on a clean install.

Get adwcleaner run it then scan. Wait for it to finish then click on clean then reboot

Then run it again go to file menu / uninstall. It'll delete itself

Close browsers before you remove whatever
