Firestick to surround

Got a firestick. Need to hook up my surround sound. I don't have any other devices going to tv, just a firestick.

Well it has to go SOMEWHERE.

So if not TV, then the back of an AV Receiver with multiple HDMI inputs is the most common method. I also seem to have seen a BOSE? HP? soundbar with HDMI ports, fitness unknown.
