Firestick works fine but no sound or picture on cable

Just bought a 55" Samsung TV. My Firestick works good, but when I try to switch over to cable I can't get any pictures or sounds. It shows me what is playing on the TV guide bar. It just won't play. I obviously have so wires mixed up. What do I do next ?

Do you have a coax connected to the TV? If so, what is the source? Cable company? The signal on the cable company coax may be scrambled. Or you may need to scan for new channels.

I haven't tried the coax connection. I do see it though. My other TV's I didn't use Ut though. My cable company is Spectrum. Should I try the coax cable ?

If you have a cable box from your cable company then you would have an HDMI cable from the cable box.
