First time buyer looking for a quality gaming laptop

1. What is your budget? around $2,000

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? large screen (17.3) or so

3. What screen resolution do you want? 1920x1080

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? desktop replacement

5. How much battery life do you need? probably going to stay plugged in

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? starcraft 2 (high), league of legends, diablo 3 (high), other random games at highest settings

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) School work, watching movies, streaming videos

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? not sure but 1tb might be nice

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? 3-4 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? bluray would be nice but can do with dvd

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. first time buying a gaming laptop so any recommended brand

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed. have been unsure of buying off newegg since I have never used their site and cant find that much on their warranties so any info on that would be appreciated

Alienware and Asus make quality gaming laptops, the sager ones have power, but sacrifice some quality. Check out Origin PC, they make some of the best gaming laptops around.
