Okay well its been awhile and I've been reasearching and I came across the MSi GX 640, anyone have any thoughts on this?

prolly wont get 2-3 hours out of a MSI GX 640. But ive been doing some looking too and might go for the asus N61 or G61.

The N61 can get 2 hours easy, if you set it up right. Im in USA so not too sure about ca.

Sugestion for 2-3 hour battery life:
Core i5/i7
720p screen
and any discrete graphics

As long as it'll last thorugh a one hour lecture I'm alright with battery life because it'll be plugged in most of the time
