Are you trying to send a text 'to' a five digit number or are you just trying to text a person and in the message put a five digit number?

If it is the second one, then you just do it like you would any text. Put in the sender info, then type the numbers into the body of the message and hit send.

If, however, you are trying to send the text to a number that is only five digits long and not a standard phone number or email address, then you are actually trying to send a message to somewhere using a "Short Codes". That is what ones that are only a few numbers long and where you send a message to. Like your bank, some companies, paypal, etc. all have "Short Codes" that can be used to contact them through.

To send a message to those, you need to know the code and you need to also have a carrier/service provider that allows for the use of "Short Codes". Some actually do not. So I would check with your carrier/service provider.
