Flash cs3 not displaying png files on top.

I cannot get a png file to show on top no matter what I do. I tried the modify/arrange/ bring to front, but it refuses to work. I created a separate layer for it, and just won't work. I am stuck and disgusted.

Have to answer this one myself since it just came to me after I got away from the computer. Dumb me. The problem was that I did not have the layer that I wanted to show on top be listed on the layer list ABOVE the layer that I wanted it to show on. Once I dragged and dropped it above the layer I wanted it to be on top of, it was there.
