Subject says it all.... I can save a good chunk of change getting a 4:3 HDTV
that will upconvert 480i to 480p for the analog sources, set the Cable box to
deliver 480i or 960p for the HD content. Sure, I'll get letterboxing on the
widescreen content, but hey, I get that on Analog with more an more shows
(e.g. ER and other shows on NBC).
Thoughts? Or am I still barking up a bad tree here?
