- Opening and closing the glider as you fall will actually slow down your descent. It might seem that there is a speed boost but in reality it will not be speeding you up but rather slowing you down.
Jump before the Location:
Yes! If you want to land faster at some place you need to jump at least one and a half squares before the location you want to land. From there, you can dive straight down to the location, as this will enable you to go straight to the place you want to land so you will not have to turn here and there or adjust yourself to land at your desired point as it can take some time. And if it took time, your enemy will get ahead of you and as a result, you will not be able to land there first. So make sure to land one and a half square before your target and dive straight towards it.
Avoid High Grounds:
This is another thing that you should keep in mind and this is something that is very important for your landing. This is because if you want to land straight at your target then you should avoid higher grounds unless your target is higher ground. The reason is that your glider opens up ahead of time if you are at a higher ground. This is because there is a set distance at which the glider opens up and if that distance is achieved due to higher ground, your glider will open up. So make sure to aim directly to the lower terrain to maintain your speed that you get with the diving.
