Found a brand new Logtech mouse in box Version 6.12 Operating system 3.1

Must of had this for years and was wondering if it was still any good? Probably a forgotten Christmas presant or something. I am not sure I am asking question in the right section.
Noticed dated in manual that said 1991.
Could I get a new driver for this or in your opinion is it simply too outdated? Thanks,

Mice tend to use generic drivers, so it could work if the computer you want to use it with has the right connector for the mouse. You usually don't even need to manually install the driver, Windows either already has it or does it automatically with most mice.

You don't need 'drivers' for it, but of what use is it? $3 mouse from the dollar store is better.

Depending on the desk or w/e surface the mouse is used on, $3 mouse from the dollar store might not be better if you don't also spring for the $3 mouse pad 😛
