This is great news. I hope other leaders leave as well. I have been with the franchise since CoD2, strictly PC (the version that gets the full effect of games 😉 ) and tried MW2 on Xbox for a month. CoD2 was one of their best series on PC since the churn out of 1 new game every year since then, the whole company image went down the drain to me. CoD2 was a perfect gameplay, graphics, and community. The games to come turned into n00b play and fancy "effects"

I am hoping to see a new company, with a new style to lead and REVIVE PC GAMING with the downfall of Activison (Completely ruined a series for competitive communities online)

^_^

Imagine if these guys teamed up with the people that made Bad Company 2...

"Two more veteran Infinity Ward employees have now left. Lead Animator Mark Grigsby and Lead Character Animator John Paul Messerly updated their LinkedIn profile accounts today showing they are no longer with the company. Grigsby spent just over five years at Infinity Ward while Messerly was with the group for over eight years."

"The total number of employees that have left Infinity Ward since March, including West and Zampella who were fired, is now at 13."

Seem to remember West and Zampella owns the rights to the MW name. Think it was in ine of the first posts on here.
But servers them right, wtf is a fps without dedicated servers

I guess that means no patch for the tons of hacks that have sprung up. The console getting cracked is essentially the last straw for the game, it isn't much fun to join a game and be unable to move because someone changed the settings to disallow that.

[citation][nom]unifiedonboarddecoder[/nom]leaving SPREE! rage quiTT[/citation] Activision takes the term rage quit to a whole new level! I hope they go to DICE to make the BC2 series even better.

[citation][nom]idisarmu[/nom]Crytek does not want them. All IW employees are good at are making static objects look pretty... seriously though, COD games only look good in screen shots. In-game, it looks like everything is frozen or made of concrete with pretty textures. Nothing is organic or soft, you just bump into something and it will NOT budge.[/citation]

haha, thats very true. However i wouldnt say there only good for that. Remember that the engine has to be able to support all of that. They focused mostly on the xbox/ console platforms and since consoles cant handle crysis-style performance with their current engine they had to make it all static. But yea, crytek designers def put more work into a game than IW.
