[citation][nom]aracheb[/nom]My wife have an iphone 4s, which doesn't last a whole day with a single charge, well my Motorola Razor droid doesn't last a whole day with a single charge either, but umm i receive hundreds of emails from work daily on it and i answer them from my phone and my wife doesn't. Also i listen to music on my phone and i normally never charge my phone in the night i charge it the next day. And my wife wanted a phone like mine, she say is so skinny and sexy and the GPS on it work like a car gps and her iphone gps doesn't[/citation]
Dude, everyone's mileage may vary. At the end of the day, it's just a phone.
Some people on this forum take it rather personally when their favorite iToy gets some negative reviews from others. like they have some personal interest invested in Apple (which they might have). They tend to forget that other people might have had different experiences than themselves. Just don't get in conversation with these slaves, you will not be able to change their mind, as they already "know" the "truth" and everyone that reports different does not. Most of them just kids that went out and spent their allowance on some expensive toy and they try to minimize the buyer's remorse.
You wife's experience is precisely what my friend's was. To add to that, my manager's previous phone (iP4) reigned on top of his desk for a while with a huge crack in the glass backplate, thus negating the claims of durability as well. Oh, well.... He went back to a BB that he uses for work, and has a Moto Droid (can't remember which one off the top of my head) for his personal use. I also have a couple of employees that use iPhones and they can never get too far from their chargers.
Going back to extended batteries: there are models out there available for handsets that offer removable batteries; I have an extended one in my Nexus S and I see the charger only twice/week. The fact that they come with custom backplates makes using a case obsolete, and as such I only use a screen protector foil to avoid scratches in the pocket from keys and such. As I said, it's only a phone, no need to elevate it to fetish status. It's an older model, but still does plenty that an iOS user can only dream of. That's my mileage.
