hello i am having a dell precision m6400 using it for playing webgl games, i tried some webgl samples the best of was aquarium.(https://webglsamples.org/aquarium/aquarium.html) on 5k fish i had 30+ fps, but it was running good for 2-3 seconds then for 1-2 seconds fps drops to 1-5fps then again continue at 30+fps then again 1-5fps for 1-2 second. even while playing games i feel freezes or lags.

issue can also be seen on https://webglsamples.org/aquarium/aquarium.html
by clicking 5k fish. it runs on 30fps for 3-4 seconds and then drops to 1-5fps for 1-2 seconds and then again goes up

I would watch the task manager and see if some other program is taking a lot of CPU time (or disk time) periodically. This may match up with what you are observing and tell you where the problem lies. If this us a web based game, look at the network
nope, i close all other programs when playing also tried to see only chrome is taking cpu on which i am playing, network is ok, the webgl samples needs time to load then no network is required, so that is perfect to check fps without good network.

Are you running task manager in admin mode and expanding to show all programs? There are dozens of Windows related programs that run. It is also possible that the game running in Chrome is hung up waiting for some Windows resource. That is a hard one to track down. Have you tried a different browser?

firefox was giving 20 fps while chrome gives 30fps. so i use chrome. and as admin task manager doesnt show any other thing taking cpu, only the browser no other windows resource.
