Solved! Free acer tech support

When i put a disk in the drive it acts like it is trying to read it for 3 seconds then stops. I go to check to see if it is saying it is working and says it is working properly. I have tried music cds, movies and pc game cd.What can I do know?

what specifically isn't working about your cd-rom?

you put a cd in, it spins it up, checks the autorun.inf and that's it. What other problems are you having?
