i can not get free avast antivirus to download on my acer laptop window 7

My shops are filled with people who do and come in with Free av AND viruses....

You can use Microsoft Security Essentials, Microsoft's free antivirus. It regularly updates its database, and uses reasonable amount of system resources.

If you MUST use free ones...MSE is the best by far....although nowhere near as good as paid ones...
