Free Lan Messenger

Can you recommend me reliable and free LAN Messenger?

LAN Messenger? You mean a Instant Message client? or you talking LAN ADMIN notifications (i.e. Network shut down at 5PM, please log out by 4pm, thank you). Normally you would use your GROUPWARE tools that come with your applications, like for Microsoft Sharepoint uses Lync, or maybe you might use Skype (which is now owned by Microsoft). LAN Messengers were BLOCKED waaaaaayyyyy back 10 years ago in XP because it was a security breach potential, one could push through the LAN Messenger (which did happen) mass spamming 'pop ups', and thus was cut off since.

I meant IM client. I want chat for 10 pcs without going online.

Well that is very odd, since even machines on a LAN are connected to the Internet. That said, as the normal 'end user' doesn't know what a IP stands for much less how to find it, trying to connect the application between one user to another relied on either external use (Yahoo, Skype, etc.) making up 'fake' accounts for each team member or relying on including collaboration / groupware software has been the norm for quite a long while now.

Using a simple Google there are some offerings, but as noted, only a couple because this sort of request is a throw back more then a decade that no one 'does' anymore. As I said, because we are a Interconnected world for nearly two decades now, people usually either have a professional IM acct or just make a fake/throw away one for that job (All team members will make a Skype account starting with the username TeamBlue_Thenyourname) and know whom to connect with.
