so title says it all I'm looking for an answer to know what free spots I have available for upgrading?

particularly an M.2 SSD what one NVME OR 2280

ALSO RAM SLOTS available
I go into memory while in windows 10 and it shows 1 of 4 used so I'm assuming there 4 available? 2400mhz

now what's weird is this particular model asus fx502vm-sb71-cb

has i7 7700HQ

GTX 1060 6GB

1TB HARDDRIVE

Windows 10

8GB 2400mhz

now my issue is. I've noticed alot of 100% on my disc when trying to launch heavy demanding games ARK SURVIVAL - ATLIS the new MMORPG BY wildcard.

it could just be the game. but other people are not having the same issue.

so I'm thinking but an SSD - and add 8GB more ram should make it have no issues.

side note.

my windows 10 copy is IN MY BIOS? so if I wipe ( to install a new ssd ) I wont need a key correct me if I'm wrong. my laptop dont bave a disc tray ( came factory without it)

thanks in advance! I've had lots of success with Tom's hardware. and is my number 1 go to for any issues related to my pcs!

Solution

Without knowing exactly, we're just guessing here.
What is in there now?

But, this from ASUS:

https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/FX502VM/specifications/
------------------
Hard Drives:
1TB 5400RPM SATA HDD
1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD
Solid State Drives:
128GB/256GB/512GB SATA3 SSD
------------------

That leads one to believe that it can only take a SATA III SSD.
No NVMe.

Again, just guessing, until further info appears.
