I was playing my games as usual...
Everything was fine until I switched my intel to nvidia and my pc started to run games better
BUT...Now even when I play minecraft it gets hot...Earlier I could play minecraft and it didnt get hot now it does...help?
How do I switch back to intel?

Normally the driver will do this automatically
It should be normal if you restart your laptop.

Go into your BIOS and set the iGPU as the default boot graphics adapter or enable multi-monitor to have both working.

So let me get this right, you initially used the intel gpu to play games. They you changed it to the nividia. If this is correct then go to your nividia control panel in the control panel, it will be under hardware and sound. Go to the game and change it back to the intel cpu.

The reason why the game runs hotter is because the nivida chip is most likely more powerful. This will produce more heat which leads to lag in games. If you want to stop this, you should first clean you pc if you have not done so. Then you should replace the thermal paste. Then you should make sure that you have the latest gpu driver for nivida.

Yes you can replace the thermal paste. Just be careful you don't damage anything.
