FX-8350 paired with a GTX 960 and Browser videos still buffer

So I recently upgraded to what I thought was a pretty decent computer (specs below). Ive played my fair share of games on it and they seem to run just fine, but when it comes to simple Browser videos (FB, Youtube) the videos will buffer like there is no tomorrow and its become unbearable. Hell, even GIFs on Imgur dont run smoothly and will stutter. I want to know if there is a setting somewhere that I can alter or something thatll fix the problem. How come games run well but videos dont?
Ive also freshly installed all my drivers do to the fact that I just upgraded to this build about a fort-night ago

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-core @4.0 (212 EVO)
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970
PSU: EVGA 500w 80+ WHITE
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 960 STRIX 2GB
RAM: HyperX Fury 8GB (2x4gb)
- 120GB Kingston SDD for OS (Windows7 x64)
- 1TB Seagate HDD for mass storage
