G53sw charger

I live in India. My Uncle is going to get me g53sw laptop from US.
The power supply is not the same in US and in India.
Will the charger provided work properly in India? Or have I got to buy the local charger? If so, does anyone(from india) knows from where to get the charger?


PS: Power supply here is: 220V, 50Hz

Check the input of the adapter. If it is 100-240v 50-60Hz, then the adapter is universal and you just need a pin adapter for the plug to physically fit in.

My uncle says he is going to get the laptop from xoticpc.com
They provide 150W AC charger.
Isn't that a universal charger?

Don't know. The wattage only tells you the rated power output of the adapter, nothing on voltage and frequency.
