G751JT Memory and Drive upgrade

Hello,

I want to upgrade my laptop G751JT-T7012D with a bit more memory and faster hard drive but also questions about my memory and connectivity.

So lets start with the memory i have 8 GB of memory and i want to add another 8 GB but when i checked my memory with cpu-z
i notice that the speed of the memory is 800mhz and i started to wonder which is better to get an faster memory or to get another 8 GB

About the drive i want to get an SSD but unfortunately but laptop dont have an M.2 slot for PCIe SSD: http/i.imgur.com/lRkMTnj.jpg, http/i.imgur.com/STG9gGS.jpg
so i dont much of a choice and i will get an sata based ssd im thinking about Samsung 850 Evo 250GB also comments and recommendations are very welcome.

Edit: I checked the memory speed with another program(Lavalys Everest) and the memory is 1600mhz image: http/i.imgur.com/mASuk62.png

Your memory is 1600mhz and the 850 evo's are great drives!
