Galaxy s3 touch issue

Hi,
I bought s3 a few weeks ago, but i m not satisfied with the touch.
I have used iphone 3gs and xperia S, it seems their touch response time is much better than s3.
Is there a problem with my phone? Can you suggest me a solution to this issue?

just got the galaxy s3 mini
the touch response on mine is immediate
check for software/firmware updates
or loads of apps running in the background

Android 4.1 is faster than previous versions, check your version for a start.
