[citation][nom]xpunx[/nom]Way too expensive and I can't even make a phone call on it!... Why should I have this in my briefcase?... No reason... I guess I'll keep my netbook... It has a keyboard... Memory... and if I drop it it's inexpensive to replace... Oh but no touch screen?... Big deal![/citation]

You actually can make call.....

[citation][nom]experimentxx[/nom]The Ipad suddenly looked tempting...[/citation]
Samsung's tab costs twice as much I would be willing to pay, but even if iPad was the only device of this kind out there, I would never be tempted to buy something so restrictive coming from company that is so arrogant.

[citation][nom]ericburnby[/nom]Competitors won't be able to point out the several obvious features the iPad lacks (that they have), which means they won't really have any advantage.[/citation]
Not being able to read your own files out of the device (I won't even mention having to use some crapoware to connect to this thing) is not enough of a disadvantage? Not being able to upload stuff to this device from more than one source is not enough of a disadvantage?

Oh, and by the way, why is it, that not a single bloody review mentiones this "unimportant" details, eh?

foolish Kartu didn't you know any photo's taken on an iPhone/iPad/iPod are the property of apple and as such subjected to apple's DRM, now be a good person and stop making your own files and generally being creative, thats why we have apple for, to make creative consumables for us to purchase

[citation][nom]eklipz330[/nom]tabs should NOT be this expensive. they should be around $300, because less face it, it's an entertainment device, not something anyone can do hardcore work on. anything above $500 should be able to run matlab, AT THE VERY LEAST.college students gotta be able to get their work done. the audience for tabs will simply pick the ipad over this.[/citation]

It's priced right. This is just an oversized phone, bigger screen. Cell phones are already $500 plus with the same specs. So how can you make that price lower? You can't.

Yes, the price is a little expensive. But, there are people who will fit this device perfectly.

It's an Android device, so it can do full flash, something the iPad can not do. It's also a device that is A LOT more open than the iOS.

Also, this CAN make phone calls. Look at the phone icon in the upper left hand corner. This is made to be used with a Bluetooth headset when it's tucked away in to a bag.

Will be interesting to see what happens with these Tabs in the next few months.

This seems way overpriced, but at least people are getting more than the shiny boxed iPad crap. Like the iPad, this devices seems useless, especially when you can get a dualcored netbook for much less. I would wait.
