A game from Humble Bundle trove (Overture, DRM Free version) is being detected as a virus; should i be weary of installing, or is this likely a false positive?

It wasn't an app per se; it was the standard windows browser itself (Microsoft edge) that gave me the warning.

I was going to try in another browser, but even if that were to work, I still have no idea what is actually setting this off or whether I should legitimately be weary of anything in the file or not.

I tend to pay attention to such warnings. You could try downloading the file and then scanning with an actual anti-virus/anti-malware tool to verify the threat.
