Solved! Gaming Laptop-$1100 or less....

My buddy is shopping for a gaming laptop. He plays World of Warcraft, Start Craft II and will play Diablo III.
He currently has an old Gen XPS with and ATI mobile 9800 Pro and 15" screen.

Options so far under $1100 with discounts including shipping and tax:

Dell XPS 17 with a Nvidia GT 555m

HP dv7t with a ATI Radeon 6770m


Does anyone else know of a good deal or better laptop for gaming with a 17" monitor it is kind of desktop/laptop since he lives in two places and will have to travel with it.

by the way the laptop I have a mobility 5730 and overclock from core 650 mem 800 to 750 925. So I expect the 5870 in the g73 to oc as well.

Yeah I have to agree that MSI GT660R is pretty hot for the price. The ASUS being recertified makes me worried. You never know how much time is on that laptop prior to it having it's issues or if someone overclocked it and damaged it. Thank you all so much for the reply I think he is going to go with the MSI.
