I'm planning to build a gaming laptop. I would need some advice for the hardware. For the CPU, I would need a desktop CPU, because it's ORIGIN EON-15x and for the graphics card, I would need a good and cheap one. I think AMD is better for the graphics, but if you find a better Nvidia, then you should let me know. Give me the link or tell me where I could buy those things.

For a good gaming experience and recording, I need a good mouse, headset and a microphone. I think it's easier to find these in the internet than the hardware, but I think people here know better about computers than I do.

Optional objectives : Find a good and cheap webcam (0/3)

And let me know what game should I play with the hardware you suggest! Thank you.

"For a good gaming experience and recording" you need a powerful and not very cheap GPU...The graphics are driven by the GPU and absolutely take priority over the CPU. Also AMD mobile processors are absolutely awful, therefore I would pick an Nvidia model for sure. The more you caqn spend on it, the better it will be for you.

That origin laptop uses desktop CPUs and looking at the options you get, it doesn't matter which one you pick for gaming as they wont have a huge influence on your experience in the majority of games.

for mouse and headset I would recommend a Razer Deathadder as it is sort of the standard go to gaming mouse and the HyperX cloud headset as its allround value for money is very good.

I thought laptops have inbuilt webcams?

You don't know what games you want to play? Try GTA V, Witcher 3, Counterstrike GO, H1Z1, COD Black Ops 3...just go on steam and browse or go on frankieonpcin1080p on youtube and see what games you like

Thank you! I think inbuild webcams aren't very good and a bit dark. For the GPU, should I stick to the GTX 970m 6GB (if I'm not wrong) or 980m 8GB (more expensive)?

I don't know what am I suppose to play. I'm not sure the hardware is strong enough, like Arkham Knight and games like that.

The hardware is powerful enough for all the games...however it doesn't sound like you quite know about PC gaming and are simply throwing money at something to see what happens.

Firstly, gaming laptops are Bulls**t. They're expensive, not very poweful, even with a deskptop CPU as the mobile GPUs are horrible. They're not very portable or can be used "ontop of your lap"...laptop...as they hat up to the point where you will need to visit your local hospitals A&E room. The screens can be questionable and the equivalent money spent well on a desktop gives you an unbelievable upgrade in performance.

In short, I would buy a prebuilt desktop system (NOT from Origin who are awfully expensive for what they sell) and start off looking at stuff that isnt of highest grade possible. You might discover you dont like PC games and want a PS4 instead. Just saying.

I think you are right though, laptop sucks. I'll look for some desktops.

And I don't like consoles.

Indonesia. How about maingear?

Okay. Bye
