Okay so finally, I can order a gaming laptop. I need help though, I am not great at making choices so please tell me what laptop is best for $1100 for gaming/photoshop/school, also future proof (if possible), I have a few laptops in mind but I cannot pick so i am asking. So here are the laptops.

Lenovo Y50 (16GB RAM, 4GB Dedicated Version)

ASUS ROG GL551

ASUS N550JK

This ones a bit over my budget but maybe I can make it work somehow but I might have to order it later on Christmas.
MSI GS60-Ghost-012

GL551, no question. The 860M is miles ahead of the 850M, and ASUS is built around cooling, so temperatures are great. I previously owned the ASUS G75.

Just don't expect battery life ;).

Lenovo is a great brand...they've actually been number one for a few years, but Asus is built around cooling, so it will last forever.

The MAIN reason, though, is that for a 1920x1080 monitor, you will barely surpass 1GB for even something like BF4 on Ultra. 3, 4 and 6 GB configurations are only needed in 4K and multiple monitor set ups.

I own a GTX 970 desktop, and my RAM has only gotten over 2 GB once.

Oh I see, thanks for explaining, I am not really good with computers. I will wait for more replies but right now I am leaning towards the ASUS GL551
