i might play other games such as Dragon age: origins or Call of Duty, GTA etc but mainly for WoW

looking for ASUS or DELL becoz they are the better brands i've heard in Australia

I think you are on the right track. You should be able to customize a Dell Alienware MX15 or a Asus G-series with GTX 260m graphics in that price range.

Also they arent pretty--but Toshiba has some competitive Quosmio's

even an ion based laptop can play WOW

I would go with an ASUS G series. With the GTX260m graphics card you'd be all set for gaming.

I reccomend the G60VX.
