Gaming laptop now or in November

Hi all, i am new to this forum so hi to all the members of this forum.

I am looking to buy a gaming laptop under $1000 and there are two questions in my mind. Is it better to buy now or during thanksgiving sales. Do you think i will be able to save materially by buying in Nov.

Secondly i have a copy of windows 7 ultimate so is there a way to buy laptop without windows to save there.

Based on my budget, as of now i am leaning towards SAGER NP7255 as it comes without windows and has latest gen 6 intel i7 processor. Please suggest if there are better options. Thanks a lot in advance for your inputs.

First of all great choice of computer you got there. Good value for the money.

Now whether to buy in November or not depends. Not all stores will have a sale.

Also if you check the laptop on Sagers website it come with preinstalled Windows 10 64bit Home Edition http://www.sagernotebook.com/Notebook-NP7255.html

Yes i looked it up and it does indeed come without a copy. The pc does not, however, contain an SSD. Not that thats a problem just letting you know. Also the harddrive is 1 TB. Many games these days like GTA V exeed 50GB so that might become tight in the future.

Otherwise a great pc. Intels 6th generation i7 processor and a GTX 960M for under 900 bucks. Very good. The battery life might be short though, not sure on that one.

But the pc is deffinantly recommended.

An SSD (Solid State Drive) is a storage drive with a different way of storing data than the HDD (Hard Disk Drive).

It's wayyyyy faster and will improve your pc's loading speeds by a lot, including boot time, opening apps, loading levels in games, installing apps etc.

It's not needed but highly recommended. It does not improve FPS in games.

Thanks infurnoHD. I just saw dell inspiron 7000 series also looks like very good. GTX 960 4gb vs 2gb in sager and cost is 799-899 depending on whether i choose i5 or i7. pretty neat. What do you think.

I think you should be perfectly fine going for the Dell Inspiron 7000 series.

I recommend going for the i7 version just because it will be more futurepoof and provide increased performance.
