Hello, and thank you for taking your time reading this!

I am in the need for a new gaming laptop and need to know which of the following three laptops (I understand that being on a budget doesn't allow the best freedom) is the best for the price for gaming AND recording. Please grade on the following games: Minecraft, DayZ, Rust, etc. I do not plan to play high demanding games like Assassins Creed or Titanfall. IF you have other suggestions in this price range please say so!:

1. Acer Aspire: http://is.gd/T9INBZ

  • Price: $649.99
    Processor: Intel i7-4500U @ 1.8 GHz
    RAM: 6GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M @ 2GB(Complaints from reviews about it not being too reliable on high settings for games)
    OS: Windows 8
2. ASUS: http://is.gd/qflGTk

  • Price: $785.15
Processor: Intel 4th Generation Core i7 @ 1.8 GHz (Turbo Boost 3.0 GHz)
    RAM: 8GB
    GPU: NVIDIA GT 740M @ 2GB Dedicated
    OS: Windows 8
3. MSI: http://is.gd/1Q5nA0

  • Price: $849.99
Processor: Intel i5 @ 2.5 GHz (Turbo Boost 3.1 GHz)
    RAM: 8GB
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M
    OS: Windows 8
It seems to be that #2 is the best for the price to me.

Take them into consideration in their stock form, unmodified. Now, which one would be the best with an SSD? What other upgrades should I consider if any?

Thank you for your time.

Yes, I really enjoy Asus laptops. Good quality for price, decent specs most times. Lenovo is another good option.

It would be nice if you could find a model with a better graphics and an i5 cpu though.

Considering your needs, I would have to agree that the Asus/# 2 would suit you best. The 740M isn't very powerful, but it will run your games on Medium(ish) settings. The i7 is the better multitasker of the other CPUs though, and is more efficient overall (both in and outside of gaming).

Also, Asus makes some pretty solid laptops with good cooling capabilities. :)
