Gaming Laptop with External GPU Support

hi guys.i want to buy a Gaming Laptop that support an external GPU.I have this 2 lap top.
1.MSI GE62 6QF with USB Type-c that support Thunderbolt 3
2.Asus G501VW Same as MSI but with a 960m GPU

i seen laptop with external dock (Mac,MSI,Dell,..) but they are expensive

is type-c with thunderbolt 3 support work with Nvidia 980 or 1080?

Hi,

A thunderbolt eGPU setup should work just fine with both laptops as long as they support thunderbolt. Also just make sure you have the correct power supply that should power the GPU.
