Well a laptop with a HD 4000 GPU won't do her justice in the long run.

I am being dead serious here, this laptop would do it minus the fact that you would probably need to change the language to English:

The CPU is a bit on the older side but it hangs with the i5-3210m overall. That nVidia 460m makes me sick, though, at that price... holy crap. It's still a Tier 1 GPU: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-460M.33612.0.html

Edit: I am about to burst into tears LOL. Where was that when I needed to buy a new laptop? I install solid state drives when I get new laptops, that would have been no different, so there wouldn't have been...

And as always, when it comes to buying from someone locally, ask a billion questions and make sure you can do a few things: use it plugged in and on battery, check wifi, and most importantly make sure you can see it handle an intensive game. If there's not one installed, bring one with you (I would suggest this just in case, anyway). If you aren't careful, you'll just end up with someone else's problem while they have your money.

When I sell game-capable laptops on Craigslist, I preload them with something that requires an account (WoW, Diablo 3, and now Guild Wars 2). WoW or GW2, especially, since they're portable: you can throw it in its entirety on an external hard drive and then copy it over to the laptop you are going to check out.
