Been having this problem for awhile, have been trying to ignore it but just recently am getting really tired of it.
My first set of speakers were the same and seemed to have no problem like this, at least until the cord was chewed up by my cats. Only had 2 working speakers, so I decided to replace them with brand new ones. Bought the same speakers, since I like them so much. (Genius SW-G2.1 1250 2.1 Speaker System)
The issue is, when I have the volume turned up half way or above on my amplifier, it has a loud buzzing/humming noise. I notice the frequency and loud-ness changes depending on what I am doing on my computer (browsing explorer, playing a game) but with no set pattern, it is random.
I've tried replugging in the cords, away from other computer cords / power cords, since thats what I've read could be the problem - as well as trying a different outlet. But nothing has worked.
Any thoughts? Really don't want to buy another set of speakers.
