Is there any other way other than GET IT NOW to load games onto a Verizon
phone?

Without stealing them, no. GIN is a way for Verizon to increase their
average revenue per user first, and something for your entertainment and
convenience second.

Roger: the question could have been rephrased:
Imagine: a person buys a phone and has already either purchased a download,
or is about to switch phones (insurance claim). Rather than repeat the
download and then "ask" Verizon for a credit, he'd (she) just like to "push"
the already purchased game onto his phone. Is there any other way to put a
game onto a Verizon phone?

I.E.: if one had an old Kyocera phone with built in Tetris, and you'd like
to put that same game onto your newer phone, can you load that game onto a
next generation Kyocera phone.

While stealing is the first thought; the 2nd thought is more technical. Is
there any software product that allows you to move a feature from one phone
and put it on another phone (of the same make/model) without paying for it
double?

On Kyocera 7135 you can use teal mover to move / copy / rename most anything
into another similar phone. Although some are "locked". Are games, or
specifically "get it now" games locked into phones, or can they be
"move/copy/renamed"

It is technically possible, but only by subverting the billing and provisioning
system for Brew and violating the licensing. The downloads are for a phone and
are not transferrable. (ie you can do it but only because the "protection"
system Qualcomm implemented has unintended holes. No I won't say what they
are.)

Personally I wish people would give Verizon more heat over the pricing and
restrictions in Brew, and call up and complain when they want to move
phones etc.
