getting music from TV to outside speaker?

I Love the music channels on my tv and would like to listen to them on an outside cordless speaker, How do I go about this? I bought a bluetooth speaker but can't figure out how to get it to work from the tv??

What kind of bluetooth speaker is it?
A regular bluetooth speaker won't connect with your tv unless it also has bluetooth

You will need to connect a bluetooth transmitter to your TV. Most TVs have optical audio outputs so a transmitter like this one should work

If you have analog audio out you can use any one you like.
