Getting sound on Xbox one using moniter with no speakers

I have an Xbox one that I have just purchased, and I also have an acer lcd monitor. The monitor is a vga monitor. I just wanted to know how I can get sound from my console because I have the monitor without a tower and the monitor itself doesn't have built in speakers in it and I would want to hear sound without headphones on my Xbox one. I also have Logitech x 530 speakers but i dont know how to plug this up because I tried to do it myself but I don't know how to plug it up because there is no connection for speakers for my computer monitor. Also I used a hdmi to vga video converter and it did work. So I really need help on this

plug the speakers into the headphone jack on the xbox & you'll have sound.
