Gimp 2.6 how to crop by px numbers?

I know the icon crop tool in gimp and how to crop with it.
Lets say I have a 1000 x 1000px jpg picture
and I want to crop a part that is 475 x 97px.
If I do this using my pc mouse, I am not able to hit the exact numbers, I hit like 477 x 92px or
other numbers close to that.

Is there a way to place the pointer on the picture and then crop the picture by entering
the crop size numbers you are out for?

Maybe you can crop after that resize the image by entering size or pixels you want.
