I currently have a 14 inch laptop running a 1600 x 900 screen. I'm looking at a new laptop that's 13.3 running 1920 x 1080.

Question is will I missing the slightly larger screen or will the higher screen res make up for it?

The higher resolution on a smaller screen can make things harder to see / read. Programs that have not been designed to allow Windows to scale up the icons / menu will look pretty small on 13.3" 1080p screen.

If you live in the US, then go to your local Bestbuy (or other electronics store) and check out 13.3" laptops with a 1080p screen (I think BestBuy have a couple of them). You can also check out the 14" ThinkPad Yoga 14 which Bestbuy does carry to see what 1080p looks like on a 14" screen.

I've looked at the various products and think a 13.3 laptop would be good. I'd really like it if the shops had Adobe Suite installed so I could try them out as those are the programs I live in.
