2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 15-17 inches

3. What screen resolution do you want? hd preferably

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? desktop replacement

5. How much battery life do you need? 3-4 hours...more the better

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? yes skyrim (high),BF3 (high), maxpayne3,hitman5,gta 5 (high after release)

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) gaming and video editing

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? 500gb at least

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. none

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? 3-4 years want something that can keep up that long

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? at least cd/dvd burner

prefer hp asus

want at least 4gb DDR3 memory
want at least a quad core would prefer I7
gpu being at least the 5870m but would like of the newer better cards like a 6990m

Asus top graphics card is GTX 560M and will be over your budget range.
