Question Google Assistant Voice Not Working on my Samsung Galaxy Watch 7

I am no longer receiving voice responses from my Google Assistant app on my Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. I have done troubleshooting steps such as checking the Assistant settings for speech output and media volume on my smartwatch (volume and speech options do not appear to be present on my smartphone), reset and reinstalled the app on both my smartwatch and Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus smartphone, and checking for app updates for both devices. After switching from Google Gemini to Google Assistant, I am getting audio responses from the app on my smartphone when asking for tasks such as the time of day, maps, and music playback. I am aware that Google is transitioning from Assistant to Gemini. Is this transition process the reason why i'm not getting audio from Google Assistant on my smartwatch or is it something else?
