I would not trust any form of encryption where I do not have total control over and still only trust it with data that has value for a limited amount of time... but then again I have very little to hide

Find it funny that Google are so "protective" of the transportation of the mails but yet scanns all your personal mails to map your intressts in order to target add's to you. Perhaps they dont want the competition to snoop in on their pie...
