Google Chrome Will Not Open

I have used Chrome for several years with never an issue until now. I click on the Chrome Icon to open and nothing happens; no error message, nothing. I can only access Chrome after restarting the computer. It's OK for a while and then does it again.

open the program right click google chrome click advanced uninstallation follow onscreen instructions and redownload and reinstall chrome
