Google data ghost?

I recently used DBan in my hard drive. When I booted up my computer, I immediately installed Google Chrome. When I started to search stuff on google, I see that my old search stuff are still there. What I mean is that my previous searches are still there. What? What is going on?

Did you have a google account? they store search history with the account online.

Before, no. Now yes. I just logged in now. Before I used DBan I did not have one nor have I ever logged in.
