Those that do pay for a sale might be sorely disappointed, google will remotely brick any device it finds that was resold.

But if you accidently drop a map, it still works, doesn't require recharging, doesn't bother you with ads and special offers, can be given to friends and copied multiple times without infringing on any copyrights, and is often extremely cheap.

I'd never pay $1,500 for a fad like this, and it's still just first gen too. It's just stupid.
