I really don't see the point of Google Glass, yet.

I can see the benefits of having a heads up display. I was on a date and pulled my phone out to check a text and the girl flipped out saying how rude I was to check my phone on a date. If I had a HUD I could have just casually read the text and she never would have known

Even with Google glass it's still rude to your date. Focus on your date not anything else. After the date you can do whatever you want.
