Not at all surprising. We started with the Echo but then purchased a Google Home. The Google Home is just a lot easier to interact with as it is much more forgiving on how you word things. But then also the Google Home is just a lot smarter.
Perfect example is earlier this week. Sons high school graduation ceremony was at this University arena that has a hard name to pronounce as it was named after someone that donated a lot of money to the University.
I ask drive type butchering the name of the arena and sure enough Google gives me an answer on the first try. Neither the Echo or Siri could get the name. Can't see any reason to get the Echo any longer. Plus Google keeps iterating so quickly and adding new functionality. Really looking forward to Duplex later this summer.
