And you wonder why people are getting lazy.

Do people remember actually going to a friends house?

I have seen a increasing number of people who do not even bother talking to people in real life and even stop talking to and visiting "real" people to spend hours on end in this kind of thing.

I would call this a down word spiral more then anything.

Ok, how about IMVU, which has been around and relatively successful for a few years now? Or maybe Kaneva, a dumbed-down Second Life copycat. Just because Google's at the helm this time doesn't mean it will be any less obscure. Plus those cartoony avatars are just a little bit hideous.

Wow, another way for people to be fatter and avoid contact in real life. usually Google is a good-meaning company but this is just too far.... ever heard of webcams Google? This is like EmoSpace 3d....
